TechSolCom IT, a Montreal based company, developed an application for the iPhone® which allows users to plan their itinerary by viewing the Ministères des Transports du Québec's traffic web cams.

The network is composed of over 250 web cams distributed amongst the most traveled regions of the province. The images provided by these cameras are refreshed, on average, every 5 minutes. By consulting these images, users will be able to plan their travels while taking traffic density into account.

This software, named “Sur la Route” (On the Road), also allows consulting road conditions. They are published by the Ministères des Transports du Québec during the winter for most of the roads and highways in the Quebec province.
